Laptop GPU help

Laptop model: Asus TUG GAMING A15 FA506IU
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H

I feel like the laptop is underperforming. It's like it doesn't know if it should use the CPU or the GPU graphics. I have selected specific games to use the GPU in nvidia settings but I still get FPS drops on games such as Rocket League.

Also this confuses me, see image below: So the laptop monitor and my 2nd monitor uses the CPU instead of the GPU for physx. In the image it appears as if there is a DP port for the 1660ti , but the laptop only has 1 HDMI port?

Some games will use enforce their own graphic settings on PC. I think, there are other programs to force GPU usage for specific application. I am not sure which program it was, But i'll check and let you know.
Pinging webdev77 because he's super smart in this section.

Yeah in my case it’s the Nvidia Settings. Games are on auto-select by default and sometimes it will select the CPU graphics instead.
When I set the graphics to GPU, it looks much nicer and the fps is also good but there is still some fps drops here and there, even on games that a 1660ti should run very well.

There's a setting in Windows that lets you choose the Graphics card for a particular app. Its under "Graphics settings".

These specs should be getting you around 200-250FPS in Rocket League when you have only a single monitor enabled. Just for the heck of it, try running on just the laptop display or just the monitor and see if you can get this range.

The image is fine. Internal laptop display is still connected internally to a port. The type of port doesn't matter as it's internal only and the graphic may or may not actually represent connection type.

As far as troubleshooting goes to resolve this, I'd set the physx option to auto-select and don't check the box for dedicate this gpu to physx. It's possible some combination of the game and your geforce experience/nvidia control panel settings conflict and since you have integrated radeon gpu, you could get weird performance issues due to the Nvidia GPU being sometimes used for PhysX only and not normal game play.
