AeLL Offers Dates to Anyone Who Bought 100 Copies of Their New Album
Ai Shinozaki, popular idol and singer in the band "AeLL appeared on MBS radio's talk show "Appare Yattemasu" and was interviewed about the release of AeLL's new album. The album titled "4/4 Yon Bun no Yon" is available to fans but for those few dedicated ones, there comes an added bonus. Buying 100 copies of the album would give you the opportunity to go on a date with a member of AeLL (with management supervision). Each album costs a whopping 2,800 Yen, or 27.50 USD. That means buying yourself a date would cost around 2756.04 USD, not bad for a date with a celebrity and I'm sure many would pay twice that to talk to Katy Perry over coffee for 30 minutes.
Individuals who purchased 30 copies also were rewarded and could look forward to some home cooking from one of the groups members. Those who bought 50 copies were allowed to go along to a Karaoke session with one of the groups members. Either way, this is probably one of the best ideas to sell albums, in fact, 9 fans considered themselves dedicated enough to buy the 100 copies which is a huge push for the group in the charts.

Synopsis
This romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hikigaya Hachiman with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he sees his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters: "They're a bunch of liars." When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, "Not working." A teacher gets Hachiman to join the "Volunteer Service" club, which happens to have the school's prettiest girl, Yukinoshita Yukino.
Characters
Yukino "Yukinon" Yukinoshita
Yukino is the leader of the Service Club, of which she is the sole member until Hachiman joins her. She is smart, beautiful, and is nicknamed the "Ice-cold Beauty" for her icy demeanor. She has a twisted sense of "noblesse oblige", and believes that it is the duty of the exceptional (in other words, herself) to help the "lost lambs" of the world. Her personality often leads her to be disgusted at the naivety of others, particularly Yui's, and she does not hesitate to show it. Despite this, Yui still affectionately calls her "Yukinon".
Yui Yuigahama
Yui is a cheerful, outgoing girl who becomes the Service Club's first "customer", asking them to help her bake cookies for "a certain someone". Her problems lie not with her personality, but with her inability to deal with issues by herself. She believes that talent is inborn, and often aspired to be like others until Yukino changed her way of thinking. Following her experience with the Service Club, Yui begins to attend Service Club sessions after school as well, despite Yukino's objections early on.
Hachiman "Hikki, Hikitani, Hikigaeru, Hikigerma" Hikigaya
Hachiman is the story's main protagonist, an isolated, friendless boy who is pragmatic to a fault. His most prominent feature is his set of "dead fish-eyes". He firmly believes that "youth" is simply an illusion created by hypocrites, for hypocrites, born from the ashes of past failures. In this state of apparent corruption, he is coerced into joining the Service Club by his futures advisor in the hopes that exposing him to the world will change his personality, and ultimately make him a "better person". He is called "Hikki" affectionately Yui.
My Opinion
Snafu was a great show. That's the line I'm gonna start with because simply put, I thought it was great. Its a romantic comedy that wasnt cliche. The first episode it seems like its gonna be just a generic romcom and that's it. It's not. It's much more. The story is slightly above average. The art and animation were really good except in a couple of episodes and moments. The art is honestly the only thing keeping it from being perfect. The characters are the brightest point in Snafu. They have a dynamic that is very very interesting but oddly realistic too. It also feels like they progress very nicely and it just feels right. Also, its gonna have a season 2. That is the best thing of all, its green lit for season 2. Overall, this series was actually great and I would recommend it to literally anyone at all. No matter what genre you like I feel you would probably enjoy this series. So watch it.
KinGxKeV: Pretty good except for the fact I've been sick for 2 days now. How bout' yourself?
Unknown: I've been good. Just stressful with college lately. Thanks for asking. First question: Why do you like anime? What is it that drives you to watch it?
KinGxKeV: Hmmm despite hearing this question a lot I can never really give a straight answer. Probably the fact that western cartoons just don't do it for me anymore. I grew up watching The Simpsons and shit like that and eventually just wanted something different. That's when I started watching anime.
Unknown: Hmm, interesting. Do you like Vocaloids?
KinGxKeV: I love Vocaloids, very good music.
Unknown: Who is your favorite Vocaloid, and have you ever listened to songs of the Onibi series?
KinGxKeV: Favorite vocaloid would have to be Miku. But GUMI would come in a close second. I haven't listened to anything from Onibi but I probably will after this interview.
Unknown: UMI is my second favorite too. My favorite Vocaloid has to be IA. While it sounds like she's forced to sing, her songs are really good when you hear emotion in her voice. Songs from the Onibi series are pretty much gore songs. I don't want to think about it to be honest, lol. Next question: What do you think about the AA Weekly and the previous articles?
KinGxKeV: I was very happy to see Happeh bring AA weekly back. When I first started posting in AA the weekly news and the poll were 2 of my favorite things to read. Previous articles have been amazing and I'm sure they will continue to be.
Unknown: Thanks for the compliment ^^. Do you have anything you would like to see in the AA Weekly?
KinGxKeV: Kev sexy pics of the week, where I give you pics of me to post. Just kidding. If I ever think of anything I'll definitely let the team know.
Unknown: Sure thing. What is your favorite genre of anime, and why?
KinGxKeV: Definitely psychological just because I love it when my mind gets fucked. I love being kept on the edge of my seat and always wondering what's going to happen next.
Unknown: I know that feeling. I've been enjoying romance as of lately. Just gives you a special feeling. What do you think about osu?
KinGxKeV: Oh god OSU! Well... It can be a very fun game and time waster but I hardly play anymore cause I am terrible. Someday I might pick it up again and try and get better but until then I will keep praising ags on his robot abilities (^_^).
Unknown: Agsking Is amazing, indeed. I'm really bad at it too. I've been watching videos of the top 50 on osu, and.. Well, amazing. Do you enjoy Light Novels?
KinGxKeV: I am an avid reader so I do love light novels. I try and get through at least 1 a month, but recently I've been slacking due to work.
Unknown: Ah. I don't read them on a regular basis, but I do enjoy them. What about Visual Novels?
KinGxKeV: I haven't gotten around to a lot of VN's. Mainly just the well known ones i.e. Katawa Shoujo, Clannad, School Days etc. I have been trying to expand but I need more time than I have currently.
Unknown: Ah, I've played some. Not a lot, I do enjoy them though.
Classic question: What is your favorite anime?
KinGxKeV: Despite popular belief it is actually not Mirai Nikki. My favorite anime holds a special place in my heart as my first anime ever watched and that is Sailor Moon. Then again I was 4 when I first watched it and had no clue what it was at the time but later when I did know. Also super excited for the reboot XD
Unknown: That's surprising, I also thought it would be Mirai Nikki.
This concludes the interview, thank you for your time.
Is there anything you want to tell to the readers?
Spoiler (Click to View)Unknown: Hi vitafortis, how are you today?
vitafortis: I'm doing well, and you?
Unknown: Fine. Thanks for asking.
First question, what do you think about anime?
vitafortis: Honestly, I think it's a waste of time. As a child, I found some of the super-natural things interesting, but now I feel it causes people to live too much in a fantasy land.
Unknown: Do you have any friends in real that watch anime?
vitafortis: I used to know a few, but none of my friends now watch Anime. Most of them admit to doing it about 8 years ago, but none of them watch it now.
Unknown: Do you know about the 'waifu' trend?
vitafortis: Not really, I've never heard of it.
Unknown: Basically, the waifu trend is choosing a certain character to be your girlfriend irl. You love a character irl. What do you think about this?
vitafortis: I think it goes back to my previous statement, it causes people to live in a fantasy land. I can understand people not wanting to be heartbroken, or have to deal with the pressures of life, but they build character, and I feel "waifu" and anime keep people from growing and maturing.
Unknown: Hmm... Have you ever heard of Vocaloids?
vitafortis: No I have not, what are those/it?
Unknown: Vocaloids are basically singing synthesizers that replace vocalists. They have a set look and there are a wide number of them. Listen to this and give us your opinion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cazX4sqd...KA&index=5
vitafortis: The fast pace of the voice made it difficult for me to understand anything, but it sounded very "robotic".
Unknown: They are basically robots. There are slower songs too, some of us (the users in the AA section) listen to songs like them daily. Can you understand why people enjoy listening to them?
vitafortis: I can understand why people enjoy a lot of things, but I don't enjoy vocaloids. It sounds too robotic for me and I prefer actual vocalists.
Unknown: If you picture a real hardcore anime fan in your mind, how do you see that person? (Character, social standing etc)
vitafortis: Honestly, I seem them as virtually anyone by appearance, but an introvert that prefers the comfort of silence and technology over large social gatherings. I know this may sound stereotypical, but a lot of people that I observe to watch Anime appear to have fewer friends, behave more anti-socially, and prefer solace.
Unknown: A lot of people say that, it has become a sterotype. Do you enjoy TV series?
vitafortis: Yes, I enjoy a couple shows that are not anime.
Unknown: What causes you to like them, and "dislike" anime?
vitafortis: The "realness" of them, how they capture the joys and pains of real life. For example, I can watch an office-based comedy that touches on things I experience on work. I never see that stuff in Anime
Unknown: There are quite a lot of realistic anime that focus on joys and pains. Most of them are slice of life and drama.
Thank you for your time, is there anything you want to say to our readers?
vitafortis: Not that I know of. Thank you for the interview.
Editor Note: Please don't insult or attack vitafortis for his opinions shown here. It takes a lot of balls to be interviewed for news about that thing you directly hate, for that section based on that stuff you hate. Lets be civilized and if you disagree, explain why, any insults will not be tolerated.
G-senjou no Maou was produced in 2008 Akabei Soft2.
The story revolves around a male protagonist named Azai Kyousuke, the son of a feared gangster who resides in the underworld.
The protagonist enjoys listening to classical music and is secretly working for his father, the leader of the yakuza.
Story Review:
G-Senjou no Maou is one of a kind, it is truly unique in a special way. I'd even go as far as saying it's the "Code Geass" of Visual Novels.
The story is a mystery thriller. It continually toys with your head and makes you look like a fool in the process. It is quite a dark story, with several deaths occurring along with conflicts of conscience from the protagonist, he is constantly involved in a battle of wits whether it is just a normal school day or taking care of something for the boss.
Art:
I fell completely in love with the art. It had several pronounced features in it that made you feel a chill in the when being threatened by someone.
There some problems with the art however. To start, it's in the hated 800 x 600 dimensions which means you won't be saving any images to set as your new wallpaper.
The art was severely lacking in some points when it came to backgrounds as well. It would describe hundreds of people lined up and down the streets but you only see the street, nobody else accompanying it.
Sound:
G-Senjou no Maou is shrouded with music, a large portion of the soundtrack is actually composed of remixed classical pieces. I personally believe that the soundtrack was used flawlessly, it truly placed you into the story.
On another note, the voice acting is something to be praised. Akabei Soft covered all bases on this part. The only character that I can recall not having a voice actor was the protoganist, Azai Kyousuke (a fun note for all the Code Geass lovers out there, they hired Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch) to play the voice of the main antagonist).
Overall Satisfaction:
Thanks for making it this far again!
Story: 9/10 Art: 8/10 Sound: 10/10
Note: This weeks loli of the week contains spoilers for Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai.
This weeks loli of the week is Yaya. Yes, she is as cute as her name sounds. Yaya is one of the most cutest bandolls, ever. What makes her cute is her dominant personality as well as her love for Raishin. Yaya is a doll, a fighting machine that can take out other dolls with ease. Why Yaya? Through out the series, she will tease Raishin making sexual remarks and attempting to get him to blush. As dominant as she maybe, Yaya also has her moments of jealousy. She tends to get jealous of human girls getting close with Raishin, causing her to throw tauntrums. One of her cutest points is when she makes Raishin look like a pervert infront of other people, it just makes you want to pet her! Even though Yaya is so playful and fun to be around, she also has her serious moments when it comes to Raishin. Yaya is a bandoll created with real skin and blood, but she is still a doll. Her dream is to become a real girl so she can be Raishins wife one day. A playful loli that teases you to the point of exploding via blushing with the ideals of becoming a real girl so she can be your wife. How can you say no to Yaya?
Every week, you can vote on a poll for your next loli of the week. This way we can vote and admire them together as well as seeing who the most popular is between the AA! For next week, you can vote for either:
Shiro, from No Game No Life
Mina, from Dance in the Vampire Bund
So last weeks contest has been won by our very own old fag, KinGxKeV. Congratulations! It seems he gets lucky when it comes to crazy waifus. Last weeks contest was pretty easy if you watched the Anime 'Elfen Lied'. The girl in the picture is known as Kaede/Nyuu/Lucy. Here is the original picture for those who are curious:
This weeks AA Weekly contest is, again, about the anime, Elfen Lied! We all know how much you guys love this anime as well as the manga, so here we go again! This contest is going to require you to have a good eye. However, it won't be a distorted image like before. From what we heard from you guys, that was a little too easy? Well this should be a tad harder (or so I hope).
In episode 5 of Elfen Lied, Kouta is seen wearing a T-Shirt with a logo. What logo is it?

News News is a section dedicated to news about AA Weekly, for example, staff changes, any writers needed for a new section, that idea. It's news, about the news! Anyway, this section may appear from time to time but won't be a permanent feature in every single article - it's like that annoying side protagonist that only appears when its needed then leaves again for a few episodes.
Firstly, I want to say a sad farewell to our Gaming News writer, Paradoxmind aka Hime. Hime has been with AA Weekly for a long time and was one of the first to help out when I started things back up, so it's sad to see them go. Real life has caught up and this will stop them from writing from now on.
What this also means is that Gaming News will be without a parent and as such will be merged again with Headlines until someone can adopt the section again.
Writers are always needed in this line of work so if you want to help write news, please send me a PM (Happeh) with anything you want to write about. I want to expand this news out as much as possible; so if you're a fashion nut and want to write about fashion in Harajuku, then send me a PM! OR if you're a fan of Music and want to write about Japanese Jazz every week, then shoot me a PM!
Thank you for your support every week. It's thanks to your kind words all of us here can keep writing, so much love. Hope you enjoyed the issue this week!

You know, since you already have anime, manga, loli, and VN of the week, why not also have an AMV of the week? There are lots to choose from and they are fun to watch.
