AKB48 Idol Group Attacked by Saw-Wielding Fan
The popular idol group, AKB48 was attacked this week at a fan event by a saw-wielding man. The even ended horribly as two members from the group suffered hand and head injuries along with one of the male staff who tried to stop the attack. The two members harmed were Anna Iriyama (18) and Rina Kawaei (19) who both needed surgery to fix the lacerations caused by the saw along with the fractures to both of them. The suspect in question, identified as 24-year-old Satoru Umeta, has admitted to attempted murder and his mother upon questioning apologized and confirmed that the suspect did not even have any CD's by the band. The suspect was showing signs of shut-in tendencies and was currently unemployed, fueling the poor reputation Otaku's have.

Man Arrested for Uploading TV Anime
A 45-year-old man was arrested on May 26th for upload 4 TV Anime Series. The Association of Copyright for Computer Software (ACCS) reported that Kanagawa Prefectural Police's Cyber Crime Division and Yokosuka Station arrested a 45-year-old male office worker from Nasushiobara-city, Tochigi Prefecture, on suspicion of cipyright infringement. The suspect reportably used the file sharing software Share to upload 3rd episodes of TV anime Non Non Biyori and Unbreakable Machine-Doll, the 4th episodes of Nagi no Asukara and Beyond the Boundary without the copyright owners permissions. He is sued by KADOKAWA for Non Non Biyori, Unbreakable Machine-Doll, Nagi no Asukara, and by Kyoto Animation for Beyond the Boundary. The police also reported he has uploaded another 1,100 files which were mainly anime titles. All of this should prove what a dangerous game anime can be and that we should be very grateful for those that do risk their lives uploading anime for us to enjoy.

Synopsis
Vash the Stampede is a wanted man with a habit of turning entire frontier towns into rubble. The price on his head is a fortune, and his path of destruction reaches across the arid wastelands of a desert planet. Unfortunately, most encounters with the spiky-haired gunslinger don’t end well for the bounty hunters who catch up with him; someone almost always gets hurt – and it’s never Vash. Oddly enough, for such an infamous fugitive, there’s no proof that he’s ever taken a life. In fact, he’s a pacifist with a doughnut obsession who’s more doofus than desperado. There’s a whole lot more to him than his reputation lets on – Vash the Stampede definitely ain’t your typical outlaw.
Characters
![[Image: 89607.jpg]](https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/characters/10/89607.jpg)
Vash the Stampede "Humanoid Typhoon, Eriks, Tongari, Needle Noggin"
Vash is a very multidimensional character—quite literally a walking contradiction. He is often a womanizer, and other times a gentleman. Sometimes he is a coward, yet other times he shows great courage. He is a wanted man, yet he wouldn't hurt a fly. He also appears young, but is actually very old.

Meryl "Derringer Meryl" Stryfe
Meryl Stryfe and her junior co-worker Milly were sent by the Bernardelli Insurance Society to evaluate claims regarding Vash the Stampede. Despite her serious attitude and short temper, she is a good person.
![[Image: 208323.jpg]](https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/characters/12/208323.jpg)
Milly Thompson
Milly Thompson is a fellow Bernardelli agent and friend and assistant to Meryl. Despite physically towering over Meryl, Milly looks up to her and always refers to her as "senpai," or "Ma'am" in the English Version, as a term of respect for a senior.
Although physically very strong, she appears rather simple and ditzy, but has an extremely kind heart and also reveals a strength of character and genuine optimism. However, Milly can be just as hotheaded as Meryl if someone is disrespectful towards their family (or wasting food, especially pudding). She can seem somewhat dim, but she has some amazing skills (chess playing, for one) which hint at a deeply buried intelligence. She does have a tendency to go a bit overboard when drinking.
My Opinion
Guys listen. I'm about to give my first 10. Is that okay? Who cares, its my review. Trigun is a show that should absolutely be seen by anyone who says they enjoy anime, ever. Quite simply, it's a classic. What makes it so good is that it flawlessly mixes action and comedy and is just perfect. When my friend first made me watch this I was skeptical because I am not really a huge fan of older animation. But I got over it. We watched it in a Netflix party and it was great. The characters are also amazing. The dynamic they have is amazing but not only that, the developments they have throughout the series was top notch. The main character himself is something that keeps you wanting to watch because he is so interesting. They could probably slack on the others and he would carry the show. Well, they didn't do that. The characters are amazing. So with all that being said, watch the show. Even if you aren't a fan of this genre or maybe aren't even the biggest fan of anime in general. Watch this show. It's GOLD.
My Rating 10/10

Synopsis
In the panic surrounding a worldwide pandemic which kills 15 percent of the population and cripples many more, a secret organization, the Propater, topples the UN and seizes control of much of the world. A boy and a girl, raised in an abandoned virology research center, immune to the virus, are attacked by the Propater and escape. 20 years later the boy is the most powerful drug lord in South America. He aids his son from behind the scenes as he evades and eventually with the help of mercenaries from Nomad (some of them former Propater operatives) fights the Propater. As the plot develops focus shifts away from the main character and develops many sub-plots dedicated to terrorism, Human-improvement, the struggle of the developing countries and the power battles between the drug cartels and Propater.
My Opinion
Figured I'd get to this one eventually, being the single best series, both anime and manga, I've stumbled upon by recommendation of AA in my time here. Eden has a well-crafted post-apocalyptic sci-fi-esque story exploring psychology, geopolitics, philosophy, and mythology (by dint of being heavily influenced by Gnostic myths and entities). Quoting Black Hole from his review, this manga is a complete roller coaster ride through myriad of emotions. The art accommodates this well and adapts nicely to each of the faces Eden bears through its journey. Warm and beautiful at times, cold and gory at others, yet always retaining the same absurd amount of detail and refinement. The cast is large and almost feels to be ever-expanding throughout, and still you never get the feeling that any of them are unnecessary, which is a rarity in such cases. If you like mature, serious, well-written stories with a flavor of traditional cyberpunk, Eden definitely won't let you down.
My Rating 9/10

Wanko to Kurasou
Synopsis:
Wanko to Kurasou was produced in 2006 by Ivory.
The story revolves around Yuuichi who is a college student that lives a luxurious life in a world where humanoid pets exist and many people around him possesses such pets. Not having a single care, Yuuichi goes about his business until he finds one of the humanoid dogs lying in the rain. He takes the dog and nurses it back to health. Yuuichi finds that this action not only connects him with Mikan, the dog, but also with other people around him.
Story Review:
Wanko to Kurasou did not have an outstanding story line in my opinion. The story seems to be mainly revolved around sexual content, though that's not to say it did have some excellent writing in some parts of the story.
In this story you simply have two routes you can go down, each has their own unique character development of course, but it's not just around one character, you manage to learn more and more about several characters in either route. Perhaps this is due to the low amount of routes?
Art:
I enjoyed the art a fair bit. Once again it is indeed in the dreaded 800 x 600 but I actually loved some of the scenes in this game. The art and music seem to mix seamlessly to make you feel something in your chest or to make you burst out laughing.
Sound:
We have come back to yet another heavily piano influneced soundtrack, not that I'm complaining, I absolutely love soundtracks like these (other than a few silly songs that don't seem to actually fit with the atmosphere it was quite well done).
Overall Satisfaction:
Story: 6/10 This is mainly due to the lacking story on Nadeshiko's side.
Art: 7/10
Sound: 8.5/10
