Welcome to Visual Basic :: A complete, updated compilation of Tutorials and Releases - King of Hearts - Sep 4, 2015
Hello,
As some of you may know, I recently created a mega compilation of all the Java source codes and tutorials released in the past. One thing that I learned from going through that was that there were many high quality tutorials, source code releases and snippets that were ignored. Seeing that, I decided to make another compilation for the VB .NET section. Now, I know that I don't visit this section often, however, this was one of my early languages that I learned and this section is probably the most popular Coding section. I am making this thread to help others as I've been helped countless times when I first started on this forum. I did not go through each and every tutorial and source code to ensure that it was properly coded, proper coding paradigms were followed, etc. If you feel that a thread should be removed from this list, please let me know why you think so.
If you feel a thread needs to be added to this list, please fill out this form and reply to this thread. I've tried to include as many as I can and will continue to update this thread. If you feel that I missed something, feel free to contribute.
Oh and by the way, threads are supposed to be listed in reverse chronological order based on last reply as of 9/4/15. However, I may have misplaced a couple of threads due to moving things around. I apologize for that.
Please try to help others to the best of your ability and try to be patient.
Before making a tutorial, take a look at the tutorials that have been already made. You might be better off creating something unique (and maybe you'll learn something new in the process).
If you are an new programmer looking for help:
Please take a look at the tutorials and source codes released before making a new thread asking for an explanation of a topic already explained multiple times previously.
Try to include relevant code in [code] tags to help us better read and understand your code.
Going on top that using [code] tags, include comments. This will help us understand your thought process.
If you wish to add more items to this list, please fill out the following form and reply to this thread. I will try my best to keep this as updated as I can, but I may miss something. Also, I'm thinking of adding an external resources section to this. However, I don't have many, so please comment with those also.
